What is the Sayre Health Center?

The Sayre Health Center (SHC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that will provide clinical services to residents of the surrounding community, and educational opportunities for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

The corporation was founded to operate a Federally qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Sayre High School in West Philadelphia.

The SHC is a cooperative effort between the University of Pennsylvania, the Sayre High School, and the West Philadelphia community surrounding the school (58th and Walnut Street), including students, their families, and community members of all ages.
